oh boy it's been a long time

I really should try and update this more often... i've changed my website a bit as far as the sports photos go. I now have different folders for different sports instead of all jumbled into one. So that is an improvement.. I need to boost my web exposure.. I need to figure out how to market myself more anyone want to help? ok so i've gotten into taking soccer and football in addition to my hockey .. and sometimes baseball photos...come check out my galleries main site is here : www.cdunningphotography.ca also had a run of bad luck.. .. had my garage broken into and a lot of stuff taken... if it wasn't for bad luck I would have no luck at all?

wow time flies

well .. apparently it's been a couple of years since I posted on here... I did manage to get another camera. I switched brands...from olympus to cannon. so far I like it.. but I was partial to Olympus. just didn't feel like paying the extra money to get different lenses. maybe one day i'll get another olympus to use the lenses I still have.. so .. now I have a canon rebel t6. with 3 lenses so far.. i'd love to get a really good zoom lens for some wildlife photography.. but alas the 70-300 will have to do for now. or if I could save up and get a converter as well... I seem to be behind on posting photos on here and i will catch up soon. :-) hopefully this year i'll go places that I haven't been yet and take more photos.. hopefully this virus eases up so I can travel a bit and take more photos.

Well i'm now down one camera now .. my olympus e420 died ... so back to using the olympus e300. time to look for another camera but it works so well.

wow I've been away for awhile

New Hard Rock Magazine published it’s “Best 2015 Hard Rock Songs” list. The awesome list includes hard rock icons such as Five Finger Death Punch and new band that sounds like Black Sabbath and Guns n Roses on steroids called Thirteen. I went to visit the Assiniboine Park Zoo to see Hudson the polar bear as well as the Penguin exhibit. Unfortunatey Hudson was sleeping when I got there so I didn't get any shots of him. I got some photos of the penguins although I think they are in a really small enclosure. Baby snow leopard cubs are very cute and I did manage to get a couple of shots of them. Please check out the gallery i've attached a penguin photo for you

I love to take photos of flowers, even if they do make me sneeze. here are some shots of lilies that I took recently. macro shots taken with my olympus e300 and 70-300 mm lens

well I got up early and tooks some sunrise photos at lake winnipeg since I was on the wrong side for a sunset.. I will post a couple of my favorites here

this first one was on ctv news at 11:30 pm sunday aug 25th ... so the same day I took it.

I have just posted 2 more galleries to my usa pages one for Grafton, ND and one for Grand Forks. I finally walked around and took some photos in grand forks usually I just go shopping. This time I walked around both Sedona park and University park and took a lot of phootos. I put 68 photos on the grand forks page which also has the flower photos I took. I could've put them on the floral page but I figured since I took them in grand forks I will just post them there. I posted 25 photos to the Grafton page and they are all done in HDR. Most of the photos are from the heritage village. First the Grafton photos.

South Dakota

Well we made our first trip into South Dakota. Although a little disappointed at not seeing a clear sign saying welcome to South Dakota it was still a nice trip even with construction on the highway. We headed straight for Watertown, I would've liked to see Sisseton but next time perhaps. I would also like to at some point visit Sioux Falls, Aberdeen and Custer not to mention the black hills but that is a longer then a weekend getaway. Anyway I uploaded to 2 galleries on my website one for the Bramble Park Zoo and another for the Terry Redlin Art Center which I never made it into because it closed before we got to it. I liked the parklike surroundings so I walked the whole way around and took photos. 102 uploaded to the zoo page here and my favorite photo:

I have now added 64 more photos to my Birtle Manitoba gallery on my website. We spent Canada day long weekend there for the 2nd time. The first time being 2006. This time I had a better camera and took a lot more photos. Although I did lose the photos from 2006 when the computer crashed. We stayed in a cabin which is one of the photos.
